How to check in online

This service is not available for:

  • Passengers who have special requirements.
  • Unaccompanied children.
  • Passengers travelling with animals in the cabin.
  • Flights operated by other companies. In this case, please contact the operating company.

Choose your seat! You can select your preferred seats for a price during check-in, or we will assign one to you free of charge.

Once the check-in process has been completed, we will generate the boarding card for you, which you can send as a PDF to your email address or have it in mobile format.

Does your fare not include checked baggage?

If you have purchased a LITE fare without checked baggage, you can now add your baggage here

Are you going to check in online?

If you have checked in online and have a suitcase to check in, you must go to the check-in desk with your luggage. Here, they will give you a baggage tag so you can proceed to security control.

Remember that you must arrive at the airport with enough time to check in your suitcase.

Check-in desks open two hours prior to the flight's departure and close 45 minutes before the departure time, except for international flights, which close 60 minutes before the departure time.

Are you travelling with hand luggage?

If you have already checked in online, you can go directly to security control and then to the boarding gate without needing to go to the check-in desk, unless your resident status or documentation needs to be checked at the airport.

What do I need to check in online?

To check in online, you will need to enter the following information:

1. Booking reference or ticket number

  • BOOKING REFERENCE: This is a combination of letters and numbers associated with your booking. The booking reference or booking code used by Air Europa contains 6 characters.
  • TICKET NUMBER: A number containing 13 digits.

Below is an example of valid booking references and ticket numbers:

  • P4PDBZ: combination of 6 letters or numbers.
  • 9960003469672: 996 followed by 10 digits with no hyphen.

2. Surname

You must enter the first surname of the passenger you wish to check in. If this surname has 4 letters or fewer, the second surname must be added to identify the passenger.

Boarding cards are available from 72 hours to 6 hours before the train departure time (Renfe and Deutsche Bahn). Customers are required to print their boarding cards during this time period. You can obtain your boarding card at the following link:

Check-in time limit

The time limit for checking in, unless otherwise specified (Lima: 90 min, Caracas: 120 min) will be a minimum of 60 minutes before the scheduled departure of intercontinental flights and 45 minutes for all domestic and European flights.
