How to check in online

Are you going to check in online?
If you have checked in online and have a suitcase to check in, you must go to the check-in desk with your luggage. Here, they will give you a baggage tag so you can proceed to security control.

Remember that you must arrive at the airport with enough time to check in your suitcase.
Check-in desks open two hours prior to the flight's departure and close 45 minutes before the departure time, except for international flights, which close 60 minutes before the departure time.
Are you travelling with hand luggage?
If you have already checked in online, you can go directly to security control and then to the boarding gate without needing to go to the check-in desk, unless your resident status or documentation needs to be checked at the airport.

What do I need to check in online?
To check in online, you will need to enter the following information:

You must enter the first surname of the passenger you wish to check in. If this surname has 4 letters or fewer, the second surname must be added to identify the passenger.
The online check-in service is not available for unaccompanied minors. The boarding card must be obtained at the airport check-in desks.
To check in and obtain your boarding card for an Air Europa flight operated by another airline, visit the website of the airline or go to its check-in desks at the airport.

The boarding pass will be printed free of charge.
Remember that if your reservation has any special requirements you will need to check in at the airport counters.
For passengers travelling in BUSINESS class or SkyTeam ELITE PLUS members, provided that they have indicated their SUMA card (Gold or Platinum) or any SkyTeam loyalty programme on their booking or during the check-in process. In these cases, the VIP logo will appear on your boarding pass.

If you are travelling on a Deutsche Bahn train, you can also obtain your boarding card at any Deutsche Bahn ticket office.
Our tickets are electronic, so you do not need to print them. You must print the boarding card, either by checking in online or at the airport check-in desks.
