IOSA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) began the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program in 2001 to meet two specific needs of the aviation industry in the areas of cost effectiveness and safety. The air transport industry is subject to a growing number of audits that often overlap in their intent and content. IOSA is modifying this situation by introducing a single agreed standard common to this type of audit. The safe operation of airlines remains the industry's highest priority.
Compliance with the recommended standards and practices of the IOSA program helps airlines achieve operational safety in all key areas, as well as to operate more efficiently. IOSA, as a commonly accepted audit program, can replace most of the shared code audits that are currently conducted. An airline that has been audited and certified to comply with IOSA standards projects a positive image of the integrity of its operations and its ability to manage the associated risks, drastically reducing the number of operational audits it must undergo.
IOSA represents operational excellence and, for the registered IOSA operator, there is greater potential for a whole range of opportunities (e.g., shared code, crew leasing, aircraft leasing, etc.).
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISO 9001:2015)
Air Europa was ISO 9000:1994 certified in 2001. This certification proves that the quality system in place is properly implemented, and ever since, AENOR, the world-renowned Spanish certification organization, has verified our quality system through annual audits. The standard has evolved, leaving behind Quality Assurance and giving way to a Process Management System with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISO 45001:2018)
The Occupational Health and Safety Management System is the tool that helps an organization achieve safe and healthy working conditions for its workers, including the promotion and protection of physical and mental health. The ISO 45001:2018 standard is the first international standard that lays out the basic requirements for implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISO 27001:2013)
The Information Security Management System is the tool that allows an organization to reinforce and protect its information and information systems correctly, regardless of the format. The ISO 27001:2013 standard is an internationally recognized framework of best practices for implementing an Information Security Management System.
