Safety regulations for liquids
Only small amounts of liquid are permitted in hand baggage. These liquids must be transported in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml. Each passenger can bring a maximum of 1 litre.
What substances are considered liquids?
Any of the following substances, or any substances with a similar consistency, can be considered liquids:
You can buy these substances in stores at the airport (after going through security) or during your flight, and carry them as hand luggage.
You can bring medicines and baby food in your hand luggage for use during the flight. These items should be placed in a transparent bag and must be presented separately at security.
Alcoholic beverages
The alcohol content must not exceed 70%.
Alcoholic beverages contained in sales packaging with an alcohol content of between 24% and 70% may be transported in containers no larger than 5 litres, with a total limit of 5 litres of alcohol per passenger.
Drinks containing 24% alcohol or less (including non-alcoholic beverages) are not subject to any restrictions for transportation in the aircraft hold. However, these items are subject to the following conditions:
The transport of more than 5 litres of liquid per passenger is subject to approval by Air Europa.
Air Europa does not accept any liability for the breakage of liquids or fragile items in checked baggage, even if the items are transported in special packaging.
Olive oil
The transport of olive oil is restricted on Air Europa flights to prevent spillages that could damage or endanger the aircraft.
Olive oil will not be accepted on Air Europa flights unless the following conditions are met:

Safety measures for powdered substances
For safety reasons, on flights to the USA, passengers are forbidden from transporting powdered substances of 350 ml (12 oz.) or more in their hand luggage in the passenger cabin.
Powdered substances of any amount can travel in checked baggage. Examples of powdered substances: flour, sugar, ground coffee, spices, powdered milk or baby formula, cosmetics, etc.
Exceptions: Substances subject to medical prescription, baby food, human remains and Duty Free products transported in the corresponding sealed STEB bag (Secure Tamper Evident Bag).
