Air Europa Cars Terms and Conditions

Air Europa Líneas Aéreas, S.A.U. with tax identification number A-07129430 and address at Ctra. Arenal - Llucmajor Km, 21.5, Polígono Son Noguera, 07630 – Llucmajor, Balearic Islands, Spain, hereinafter “Air Europa”, is a company registered with IATA and registered in the Mercantile Registry of Palma de Mallorca (Spain) in Volume 2266, Folio 124, Sheet PM-4757. Air Europa simply acts as an intermediary agent in the car rental reservation transaction. The transaction is carried out between the end user and the vehicle rental company (hereinafter, supplier). The reservation may be modified or canceled as stipulated in the provider's policy. Please see the car rental provider's Terms and Conditions for more information.

By booking through Air Europa Cars, you agree that we will process your reservation data for the purpose of communicating it to the supplier acting as intermediaries. The retention period for this data will be 5 years from when the provider provides the service. You can exercise your rights at delagadopd@aireuropa.com. About the facilitation of linked travel services 

If, after having selected and paid for a travel service, you book additional travel services for your trip or holiday through Air Europa, you will NOT enjoy the rights that apply to package travel under the consolidated text of the Law General for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16. Therefore, Air Europa will not be responsible for the correct execution of said additional travel services and in the event that any problem arises related to it, you can contact the corresponding service provider directly. 

However, if you book additional travel services during the same visit to the Air Europa booking website, these services will form part of linked travel services. In this case, as required by European Union Law, Air Europa has taken out a protection guarantee to reimburse you for payments made for services that have not been performed due to its own insolvency and, if necessary, for repatriation. Please note that no refund will be made in the event of the insolvency of the relevant service provider.

BANK GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE ISSUED IN FAVOUR OF AIR EUROPA LINEAS AEREAS, S.A.U.

BANCO SANTANDER, S.A., with N.I.F. A-39000013, with registered office for the purposes of this guarantee at Calle Abelias 1, 28042 - Madrid, certifies that it has signed a BANK GUARANTEE Nº 0049 150005 2111154180 in favor of AIR EUROPA LINEAS AEREAS, S.A.U., effective November 7, 2024 and due November 16, 2025, covering as an individual guarantee the obligations set forth in: a) Law 8/2012 of July 19 on Tourism in the Balearic Islands, amended by Law 6/2018of June 22 and by Law 6/2019 of February 8 (Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands), to respond, in general, to the fulfillment of the obligations derived from the provision of its services to the contractors of a trip combined and, especially, in the event of insolvency, the effective reimbursement of all expenses incurred by the travellers or by a third party on their behalf, to the extent that the corresponding services have not been provided and, in the event that transport is included, the effective repatriation of those, without prejudice to the possibility of offering the continuation of the trip. b) In the RDL 1/2007 of November 16, modified by Royal Decree Law 23/2018, of December 21.Procedure and deadline to file a claim: The Insured must notify BANCO SANTANDER, S.A. of the occurrence of the incident within a maximum period of 7 calendar days of having become aware of it, by calling658115172 and/or email: avales1500@gruposantander.es or by filing their claim directly at a BANCO SANTANDER, S.A. office. In Madrid, on November 11, 2024.BY THE BANK: This certificate solely and exclusively attests to the existence of the aforementioned GUARANTEE without any other legal implication regarding its clauses, terms and conditions. Note: Insolvency protection does not include contracts with parties other than Air Europa that may be performed despite the insolvency of Air Europa.
